Second Military Mapping Survey of Austrian Empire - Maps were created between 1806 and 1869 and the elder ones rectified after 1840
I tried to find the maps of Transylvania, more precisely of the Bretcu (bereck) region. I found something on arcanum.hu, but I could't find what I want. Can anybody help me with a link? Thanks a lot![B] |

If you have google earth installed you can download this kmz which overlays the current map : http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile34394/Cou...-as-of-1918.htm
There is another project done by a university here in Bucharest which uses AH maps overlayed in Google Earth aswell but i can't seem to find it This post has been edited by muggs on January 31, 2012 07:25 am |
