The footage contains various clippings from a number of films taken by SMP and have been seen before in a number of other propaganda films.
Also visible is Dobran in the cockpit of his "Yellow 22" (from 00:00:46:17 to 00:00:50:00 ). Dobran's "22" is visible so fleetingly that it seems to be a "2", but longer sections of that film are known to exist elsewhere and I had the chance to see them. A still-frame of Serbanescu shaking hands while leaning out of the cockpit of "White 1" as it appears in that film has been published a while ago in at least two books.
Nevertheless, it is still quite interesting.

Yes, this footage inspired me to instruct the artist how to paint the cover the 'Rumanian Fighter Aces' book by Osprey.

The webmaster of this site has some nice romanian farbdias, unfortunately i wasn't able to convince him into enlarging some and presenting the others sad.gif

There are some others in some thread too which he only mentions, of the Ploiesti AA defenses and surroundings

in my grand mother village 12-14 russian soldiers raped a 76 y.o. woman, a friend of my grand mother. she died 2 days after.

my grandmother sister(18 yo) was close to a rape...saved by a russian officer that was passing nearby and heard screamings. please bear in mind that the 2 russian "heroes" were draging her out of the house and wanted to rape her in court, all the familly watching. after this event she put on her clothes horse shit and ash on her face.

Is the same asphalt! biggrin.gif Russians developed on purpose the T-34 tank, as they knew that in one day they'll have to march them on romanian roads. If the 88 mm AT guns couldnt stop russian tanks, even nowaday romanian roads could do it. biggrin.gif
