i do not mean to be a nasty person and i really understand the need for advertising for this forum to exist but me , and a know a couple more, (i believe there are others too), have a small problem. the Apis commercial makes a awfull shrieking sound everytime it appears. and believe me, in the middle of the night, when you have forgotten the subwoofer system at full capacity, it is not a pretty picture. it scared me out of my mind a couple of times. i was only wondering if , since it is just a flash item, if the moderators could reduce the sound. if it is impossible , i understand and we will all have to watch the speakers.

thank you

I must say those swooshing noises were getting on my nerves too. I listen to music with my headphones when surfing the net and the first time the ad played I nearly fell off my seat.

I opted to kill the domain name of the ad server in my Windows hosts file so I've been rid of it for a while. Now I can take that off.

Do you know what a hero is? Ninety-mine times out of a hundred, he's somebody who's tired enough and cold enough and hungry enough not to give a damn. I don't give a damn about you, Hawkeye!
