Ok but the only way to get the book Dragos is talking about is to contact Sylvi Publishing House directly and hope they know where to get it or have some left in stock, etc.
The book from Columbia University doesn't look bad as well. |

That is another book, indeed. The Romanian version was published in 1999. Interesting and with much non-military related information. Don't expect to find serious account of the operations or equipment of the Romanian Army inside it, though. It focuses more on the politics and the economy, as well as the deportations to Trans-Dnestra.

And from the same author, Petre Otu, the published variant of his PHD thesis, "Îmbrăţişarea anacondei. Politica militară a României în perioada 1 septembrie 1939 - 22 iunie 1941". Even if it stops at the moment of the beginning , the book is a "must" for those who seek to understand the actions of the Romanian Army on the Eastern front.
