Somebody working in a library was asking me about a symbol that appears in some pictures taken at a ceremony in Munchen on Nov 9, 1935. The symbol was depicted to me as "the horizontal arm of the swastika". You guys have any idea of what this could be?

It has the right shape. I was told they were horizontal (not vertical) and there were three of them one beneath the other. Any kind of markings like that on old party uniform? SA markings maybe?
The pictures that I talk about were taken at a funeral ceremony in Munched during which the corpses of the Nazis who died during the 1923 putsch were moved to a different place. Didn't see the picture though ... |
