Gents,
Can someone please give me some info on an ARR pilot named Camencianu Eugen ? I need as much info as I can muster. Many thanks, Al PS - I used the search function, and I already gathered some info from the forum and from the Internet. |

Adj. stag. av. Eugen (Evghenie) Camencianu was an 'ace' fighter pilot with 7 confirmed and 3 unconfirmed 'kills' (amounting to at least 14 ARR victories). He flew 73 combat sorties in the 1941 campaign. KIFA on 5 October 1942.

Thank you Denes, I already have this info. I need info on the downed planes, and as such. I have a small archive of about 80 fotos and documents, and I am struggling to ID pilots, planes, etc.
Timeframe - from 1938 to 1942 (his funeral is shown in photos, with comrades) Therefore, any additional info will be greatly appreciated. Al |

I taked to him,he said that he knew him very little,since Commencianu was flying Hurries in Constanta.
But he can recog. people in your photos. |

At the funeral of Camecianu should be mostly pilots from 53 sq.

Because you didn't mentioned from the first post i made a confusion with Camencianu funerals.  So we have to indentify who were with the "Michael the Brave" comrades beside Bazu Cantacuzino and Ion Dicezare.  PS: You should forward a copy to "Fundatia Erou Capitan aviator Alexandru Serbanescu" (President Eleonora Arbanas), they will appreciate.
