Those pictures were made in the evening when the light was low. I hate using the flash for photos...

And i see that whoever wants better details, can fix them

I'm not sure, i never tried it on painted/gilted/plated items. But i'm afraid that it will lift anything that's on the base metal.

Maybe someday i'll try it on a piece of painted/plated metal and see the results...

Fruntas Group: Members Posts: 69 Member No.: 725 Joined: November 20, 2005	A few years ago I put together a simple electrolysis unit useing a common plug-in adaptor too clean some dirty Roman coins I bought and it seem to do a good job. If I recall correctly I made a solution out of salt and water to clean the coins in.
