Means that is unusual to use another language when we can speak in Romanian. I guess , at least 90 % of the users are Romanians . Don't get me wrong , I'm not a member or sympathizer of Mr. W.C. Tudor , but get real who is more interested in Romanian Militaria ??? Answer : Romanians..... blink.gif

Browse the members list and you will see that more than your estimate of 10% of the members are not from Romania or of Romanian ethnicity. Also it may surprise you to know, that there are non-Romanians interested in Romania and its history (this is forum is not entirely dedicated to militaria).

Victor , there is no possibility to find out who is from where . Maybe you as a administrator you can see this. And after all , that means nothing , because there are millions of Romanians in …diaspora.... So , if there is someone from Germany or USA (for example) to access this site it has to be connected somehow to Romania , as origin , or something else . Regards .

Trust me. I've been here longer than you have and when I say that there are plenty non-Romanians I mean it.

Unfortunetly this site adress to romanian army but strictly to thouse who speak english verry fluent.
The creator of this site had 2 option, first the relation to outside Romania, whit all the historians from outside (although personaly i seen 99% romanian contributors) losing all the non or poor english speakers and the second one to be a Romanian language to site and lose all the outside visitors and to win all the romanian contributors.

The good thing is that the information on romanian army become more accesible on the internet to english speakers.
The bad thing is that any eventual information provided by non-english romanians is been sweept.

cipiamon,

I am glad that this forum exist and that is in english so I am able to learn a lot from the Romanian perspective during World War II even if my english is not that good.

How about a section only in the Romanian language so it will attract more Romanian who don't speak english.

Regards
PM
