No distinction was made, all were designated T-4.
I know that G had only L/43 gun. It is the H that had L/48. I am wrong?
Read the articles on T-3 and T-4. No T-3 survived the war, and only one T-4. But some Panthers were in service of Romanian Army after the war. |

Some late production Gs had L/48's and some still had L/43s until those were used up. Some had applique armor, some didn't, some had skirts, some didn't. It's a nightmare to figure out.
I assume the Panthers were delivered postwar, more or less reconditioned? Seth |

13 Panthers (G, A, D) were purchased after the war from Soviet Union, and remained in service until 1954.

Whoa! I had no idea Pz Vs were in service with the post war army. Learn something new every day! Not to get off subject, but what other foreign tanks were in service post war? |
