Enclosed is a photo of a large group of various Rumanian medals/order/badges.
I am wondering why same medals/order/badges have different ribbons? Dénes |

I guess they are wrong replacement ribbons. The badges with correct ribbons seem to be the following: - The first Commemorative Cross of WWI (as well as nos. 3-7); - Both Commemorative Crosses of WWII; - The sixth and the seventh Commemorative Medals of the Second Balkan War; - The first Carol I Centennial Medal; - The first Military Virtue Cross (interestingly, the other one has the ribbon of the current Military Virtue Order); - The 1906 Jubilee of King Carol I Medal; - The first Crusade against Bolshevism Medal; - The first Loyal Service Medal (the second Loyal Service Medal has the ribbon of the wartime Loyal Service Cross); - The Honour Sign for 15 Years in Service seems to be a new model, but the badge is not according to the official description; - The Honour Sign for 25 Years in Service (but it seems to have only a fragment of the ribbon). |
