Hi, I am looking for information on my Grandfather. He was A Romanian pilot Durring the later year of WWI and About to 1943 in WWII. His name was Tudor State, If you can help I would greatly apriciate it. Thank you for your time.

I checked my ARR losses database and found no Rumanian airman who was involved in any losses or accident (from 1919 to 1946).

The only 'State' I found are the following two airmen (both died in war):
adj. stag. av. Zaharia State+
lt. obs. Dumitru State+

If you can give as more details on your grandfather's career, there is a slight chance that we might be able to assist your search.

Hi My grandfathers full name is Tudor State Luchien. He Was probably a pilot in wwi when he was about 14. He probably only fouht in the last year of wwI. In WWII he was shot down probably in 1943, or 44, and lived. He unfortuatly had a savire injury most likly grounding him, if he still wanted to fly after that crash. He died in 1997 at adout 92 years of age, some time in march. He was probably bourn after 1905. I have a photo which was probably taken just before or Durrring WWII. Since I do not know how to put it on here I will email a picture of the photo to you.
