All,
Looking at the thread about awards to Roumanians, I was wondering what awards the following individuals received. The two men I am curious about are: Alexandru Averescu Constantin Prezan Other than their Mihai Viteazul and Russian St george awards, I know nothing. Thanks in advance. John |

If I remember right, Averescu's orders and medals are on display in the National Military Museum in Bucharest.

According to some old photos, Averescu was awarded the Collar of the Order of Ferdinand, the Grand Cross of the Order of Carol I, the Grand Cross of the Order of the Star of Romania, the Grand Cross of the Order of the Crown of Romania and the Grand Cross of the French Order of the Legion of Honour.
And from similar sources, Prezan was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Carol I and the Grand Cross of the French Order of the Legion of Honour. |
