Did slt Mociornita wrote poems? I think that i'm wrong but once i read something about it, or maybe it wasn't Mociornita...
What other pilots wrote poems or other literature published at that time or nowdays? (i remember only (forgot the rank) Demetrie Benedict Carac) Thanks Bm |

Yes, he did. I have a copy of a book about him, compiled by Mircea Constantinescu, titled: Cântecul orb al destinului, privately published (or rather multiplied) in only 25 (!) copies. The book was given to me by Lt. Mociornita's sister, Mrs. Maria (Marietta) Mociornita. This book contains many poems of the former pilot, KIA in 1945. These verses are illustrated by the author, himself. |

Yes, I can send a few sample scans to Dragos to post them on the site; however, for more the issue of copyright arises... :guns:

Grateful to you once again Denes. What about the other copies? I hope that one day the book will be published.

Dear Dragos and Denes,
What a nice present you made offering this poem. Through this poem (and the others) Lt Mociornita is still alive, present in our thoughts and hearts. Everyone will understand in their own way those lines but the presence of the pilot, with his personality, will be forever in our minds. Thank you for publishing the above poem. Allawys grateful, Bm |

Bernard, for more than a year, some of the poems were published on the site in English translation (made by his sister prof. Maria Mociornita).
