Funny, I have the original negative (thus the copyright biggrin.gif ) of this particular photo. The wing is of a Bloch MB-200 night bomber.

Does the SMP logo on this photo stand for something like Serviciul Militar de/pentru Propaganda (Military Propaganda Service)?

What is then the meaning of the double P logo on the photo below? What does it stand for?

Yes.

One stands certainly for 'Propaganda'...

"Top 3 Air Force Generals pictured here toasting at a funeral reception. Wearing a black armband"

Who are these generals? Can anyone ID them? They are wearing a lot amount of ribbons but no MV3 unless it is only represented by a ribbon. :keep:

No, they don't show fighter ace Ioan Milu.
I also have a couple of original photos of this airman, but so far could not identify him.

Denes - I found several more photos of this Air Force officer. All not marked. Except for one which appears to have been the last one taken of this officer that I have. He is now a Captain and wears the Iron Cross, Aeronautical Virtue, Pilots badge, and Aide-de-camp or Staff Officers aguilettes. On the back side is written his name which appears to be "Velu".
Any ideas of who this person is ? Went from combat pilot to Staff position.

Another photo. This one taken during the Crimean Campaign. "Velo" is 3rd one from left. This photo dated Oct. 30, 1941 in Melitopol, Ukraine. Looks like he saw combat in Russia.

I've come back to life....

Great pictures I must say.
I'm looking for pilot pictures other then that posted on arr.go.ro.
I was looking for Agarici, but could not find any other then this...

user posted image

It's a shame, the only photo of this famous pilot one can find on the internet. Does anyone have more Photos of Agarici?..
...or other rare photos of ARR pilots?

Dénes, help!
