I got to this film by using keyword "Don". It was about the Soviet victory at Stalingrad, and includes several well known sequences, with German prisoners and with Paulus.

I found it. It has the ID 1073.13.

In its description it is stated: "Various close up shots of some of the German generals captured during the battle of Stalingrad. Among those noted are Brigadier General Demitriu, Lieutenant General Schlemmer, Major General Von Drebber and Lieutenant General Von Daniel.". Maybe this is the answer to your question.

The film id is 1073.13

The caption mentions "Brigadier General Demitriu"

I think he is brigadier general Romulus Dimitriu.

I think he is brigadier general Romulus Dimitriu.

Do you have any information about his career before and after he was captured?
