Air Force Fireman Between 1939-1941, many members of the Iron Guard were employeed by the Air Force as civilian fireman. This is a civilian firemans helmet in which the front helmet plate has been removed. 3 rosette roundel rivits plug up the original holes and a smaller Air Force insignia is attached to the center of the helmet. |

Air Force - General Staff Adjutant - Senior Officer Very unusal hat. Once an Air Force Generals hat. Remanufactured by hat company removing the upper row of oak leaves and Generals insignia patch and applying a new patch for Air Force General Staff Adjutant. Note the Bullion wire insignia sewn directly below the Air Force insignia. It is that of the General Staff Adjutant. A flambing bomb with wings and lightning bolts around it. |

Artillery - General Unusual private purchase piece of very high quality. The gold oakleaves normally brass stamped gilted are made of bullion wire oak leaves embroidered into the visor bill. It has the addition of a gold wire twisted cord attached to the side buttons for Staff Officer. |

Infantry - Junior Officer Unusual color. In a deeper wine or rasberry red. Infantry hats are in a bright red color. This hat has side buttons for Gendarne. Infantry Division Military Police Detachment ? |

Crimson red color is the color for the Infantry Branch of the Army.
