As politics are much more important than the price and quality of the military equipment, I think we will witness the continuation of the shrinking of the sales markets for Russian weaponry.
Romania is just a piece in all this world puzzle. Worse for the Russians, they sold shares from their own military factories, in some cases losing the decision control. |

Not to go off topic but, speaking of Russian plane sales, there was an article in my local news paper about people in Texas buying Mig 15s and Su-2? trainers and flying them around here for fun.
There are 16 private owned jets and even a jet training course for civilians now. They said the jets sell for around $200,000. The only rules by the gov't are that the arms be removed. I bet it's a hell of a sight for the F-15's flying around Bush's ranch here in Waco! |

I remember an actress who some years ago paid 2.5 million dollars for an operational American jet fighter just to install it as an exhibit in her garden.
