The war in North Africa started on 10 June 1940, the day Italy declared war on France and Great Britain. The first part of the Afrika Korps was a hodge-podge of units put together as the 5th Light Division and was originally supposed to be a blocking detachment to prevent the British from overrunning the rest of Libya in early 1941. For part three of your question, the Pkw II, Pkw III and Pkw IV were the main tanks used, plus the odd captured British tank.

The war in North Africa started with the invasion of Egypt by the Italian Army on 13 September 1940.
DAK (Deutsches Afrika Korps) was formed in early 1941 and was comprised by the 15th Panzer and 5th Light (later renamed 21st Panzer) Divisions. They were regular army units. Although the term DAK is often used to describe all German forces in Africa, it technically applied only to these two divisions (15 and 21 Panzer).
Of which of the nations that took part in the campaign? |

Try
http://www.angelfire.com/ok/panzerkampfwag...gon/index1.html and http://www.afrika-korps.de The Internet is full of information and using Google isn't that hard. This site&forum are mainly focused on the Romanian army in WWII and there are plenty other sites/forums dealing with the general aspects of WWII. |
