I would like to invite anyone to recommend books about WWII. I know there are a lot of books about this topic, but I am sure there are people who didn’t even heard about important books (me included).

A good reference on World War 2 in general is:
The Macmillan Dictionary of the Second World War, Second Edition, Elizabeth-Anne Wheal & Stephen Pope, Macmillan Publishers Ltd, London and Basingstoke, 1997
