Since you have over 100 posts, you can request an avatar by attaching an image in the pinned Avatars topic and I will add it to the avatars gallery.

Too bad I cannot upload avatars at this time... Is there anything else to do, besides asking the moderators?

OK, here it is.
Its a painting by Friedrich von Amerling (1803-1887) depicting Emperor Franz I. I tried to resize it using PhotoShop but I couldnt get it below 12kb and that was just a crop of the image. I dont know what you can do, but it got to be a miracle... If you'd have to crop it like I did, I think a bust complete with the sceptre and without showing his left hand should be the best. His crown has to go in, though. thanx This post has been edited by Imperialist on May 18, 2005 02:43 pm -------------------- I

I do not accept this image to be added to the gallery of avatars. Try another one.

Reasons?
It's not porn or anything else offensive. It is just the image of a polish actress that played in the movie "Schindler's List", captured along a ray of her soul... It is also a work of art, one of the best artistic performances in photography by the renowned Tomasz Preniasz-Struś. I would post the entire photo, so you could see the reasons why in our circles is as revered as it is. Seriously, the anarchist avatar should have been forbidden... How about these avatars, aren't they a little too funny for this forum? Edit: do you remember the girl with the red shirt from the movie? That's her This post has been edited by Alexandru H. on June 13, 2005 10:09 pm |

The first and the third are aircraft or fighter group emblems. Victor or other ARR specialists should tell you more. See the emblems of the following fighter groups: http://www.worldwar2.ro/arr/?article=443 http://www.worldwar2.ro/arr/?article=445
I did not see the movie.
I find it not appropriate with the rest of the avatars. |
