I am no expert in pistols, but the factory markings ČZ denote a (post-war?) Czechoslovak manufacture.

For a better result, a live bullet should also be placed in the barrel. :guns:

Even a blank will cause a little damadge if the pistol is near the face. I've heard of an accident with blank bullets. In the army, at a drill a soldiers sneaks up on another with his baionete, when he's close to a "target" he pops from behind a tree and says:"I'm gonna det you". The "target" freaks and pulls the triger......and what happened is obvious....the "killer" ends up in the hospital with his face burnt. |

CZ stands for "Ceshka Zbronoivka" which means, in translation, the Czech Gunsmith factory. The most famous Czech wewapon factoru was made by Prusaks during the Prussian Empire, in Bohemia area from today Czech Republik. Is still teh most famous gun factory in Eastern Europe, with traces back to 250 years ago, following an secret recipe of metal treatment similar to Krupp famous barrels.
