Hangar fire at Giuleşti airfield, Early 1940

Admin Group: Admin Posts: 4368 Member No.: 4 Joined: June 17, 2003	At an unspecified date in early 1940, one hangar at Giuleşti airfield, near Bucharest, caught fire. Reportedly, six or seven airplanes burned down. Does anyone have any further details? Gen. Dénes

Admin Group: Admin Posts: 4368 Member No.: 4 Joined: June 17, 2003	According to a new piece of information, the Polish warplanes that were destroyed in that hangar fire still wore Polish A.F. markings. Perhaps someone else knows more about this little known incident... Gen. Dénes
