At an unspecified date in early 1940, one hangar at Giuleşti airfield, near Bucharest, caught fire.
Reportedly, six or seven airplanes burned down. Does anyone have any further details? Gen. Dénes |

Sorry I don't have such details but I would like to know more about Giulesti airfield - it is the first time I hear about it.

According to a new piece of information, the Polish warplanes that were destroyed in that hangar fire still wore Polish A.F. markings.
Perhaps someone else knows more about this little known incident... Gen. Dénes |
