From the excerpt I've read at the link provided, the book appears to be rather a romanticised non-fiction, searching for sensational aspects, using a populos language, rather than a history book.
And I didn't see any direct reference to aviation.

This is a comercial preview but probably the book will reveal also some documents and pictures from the archivs. As far as I know Mihai Pelin articles are based on military archivs reserch and not fictional stories.

Yes, I am aware of some of Mihai Pelin's former works, based on archival sources. That's why I wrote 'non fiction' book, and not 'fiction'.

However, I am wondering how does he know that Margaret Bourke-White was dressed with a whore's shoes when she met Stalin in 1939... ohmy.gif

I have bought today a book written by Mihai Pelin: Italieni, va ordon treceti Prutul. There was another book written by him there, but this one caught my eye. I'll see how it is written and get back to you with an opinion.

"Italieni treceti Prutul" is based on newspaper articles and personal memories, an interesting book because of some of the details in it.

It is non fiction, but of little military interest.
