These guys are in their bathing shorts.
I believe Toma is the one in the centre, who appears the shortest.
The one in white shirt and shorts surely looks like Serbanescu.

It's not a 4x4!
It's Back wheel drive, but driven by chains.
It's on an airfield, and pilots were playing with it.
Here's another photo,with Toma lucian.

Isn't the first from the left Bazu Cantacuzino?

I know you're a dentist ('dintzar' biggrin.gif ), but I still stick to my position regarding Serbanescu...

As for the vehicle, it could be an airplane tractor, which pulled the airplanes stuck in mud. Just a guess, though.

You are right!
It's Serbanescu.
Only he didn't smile with "all mouth".
You know teeth are the best way to recognize a person (even when it is unrecog.).... sad.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Than if that is Serbanescu, the guy you said it is Ruspoli, can't actually be him, because he was with the 7th Fighter Group in 1941, while Serbanescu joined the unit in 1942.

I compared some photos of Sebanescu, with the one on the vehicle.
The problem is that they are about the same size.
Serbanescu's feet are very well built (he was a "Vanator de Munte").
The mustache and the hair cut are about the same.
But still the mouth and smile are dif......
In the photos I have ,Sebanescu smiles with all his teeth,an" ear to ear smile".
But it's only a photo.

All photos I posted recently were made during a few days by Stefan Greceanu at Salz airfield, during the Odessa campain.

Then it can't be Serbanescu.
