Romanian trucks, use of Axis trucks in Romanian Military

Soldat Group: Members Posts: 3 Member No.: 634 Joined: July 28, 2005	I believe the mystery vehicle to be an ex-Austrian Army ADMK "Adamek" wheel-cum-track carrier. The tracks and bogie wheels have been removed, but the idler wheels, front drive sprockets (on front end of drive chains), and mountings for the bogie wheels are still visible in the photo. Would be interesting to know the full story of how it got there. David

Certainly. There was even a Ford factory in Bucharest.

Yes, I was working at Autoshow at that time

Now, I have to ask in order to take the pictures of the Ford factory before the war.

In any case, it was a 1936 Cadillac touring car used by a Romanian General from ebay.de, seller is obvious. Here is a Packard from the same source. Bill
