Does anyone have Romanian Army uniforms from WW1 and WW2 that they would like to show to us? I am interested in seeing these in color as all I have seen are b&w photos and one Mt Troops officers uniform.

http://muzeu.mapn.ro/sectii.htm

That's the site of the museum from Bucharest.
I know the site is Romanian, but on Sectia de Istorie Militara click on numbers 5, 11 and 13 (uniforms).
No. 11 was the tunic of the gen Grigorescu CO of Ist Army at Marasesti.

on the Sectia istorie militara contemporana no.5 is the uniform of the Michael of Brave oreder. Also, no. 8 is the uniform of gen Dascalescu (in WWII)

Thank you. Looks like a wondeful museum. Is it possible to get a photo tour or maybe a video tour of the military section relating to WW1 and WW2?

I had a Romanian army coplete uniform, found in a garage of a friend of mine a few years ago.It belonged to his father who was an infant.officer during ww2.My friend was glad to get rid of it.I kept it for a while and then I had the "briliant" idea to wash it in the washing machine. The uniform got a smell that I couldn't stand and had to throw it to the garbage.
Mext time I'll visit my friend,I'll look again in the same garage maybeeI'll find something .

REGAL UNIFORMA COLECTOR,

Those are awesome. Are you in the USA or europe? I have seen this generals tunic before I think and possibly have a photo of it that a man sent me a year or so ago. This person has many Romanian order bars and uniform items. I just cannot remember his e-mail address.

Let's see more!
