Two questions in one.

First what type of paint, did the ARR use to paint it's aircraft? Italian, French, Polish, German RLM, or Romanian made paint ?
What exact colors did they have available?

Secondly, i'm interested in unit markings, squadron 'emblema', like the Donald Duck, the Micky-Mouse, "Bamby" and everything else that was put or written on planes like 'Hai Fetito' and 'Bucuresti-Moscova'.

I made a small collection of insignia. The first figher squadron is hand painted, while some of the others are from http://www.worldwar2.ro/arr/units.htm.

If there are other please feel free to add them. This was all i was able to find, except 'Bamby'.

There is a similar thread only about the Disney emblems.

Could someone confirm from which country Romania purchased paint to color it's aircraft, or weather the paint was manufactured locally?

I have reasons to believe that ARR planes were not painted with RLM German paint.

Here is a good website with some countries, and the paint (including all colors) they used for planes.
Click on Colors, and the correspoding country.
I can see Hungary on the list, - but it seems Hungary used RLM.
