I know that... I bought it, even I decided long ago that is not worth it ..
Is the program running? How many do we have? How many we intend to have. The Gun performace seems to be very good. The concept also. it will replace our towed guns. |

Good points for ATROM are - cheap, domestic produced - not imported 100%, local service/maintanaince. That ones, and good performance. Now we going to a new level - mobile guns/self propelled. In our inventory we have other types? SU-100 and 76 were out? Iama |

Su-100 and Su76 where WW2 assault guns ..I think those where out long ago.
We had something like 2S1 M-1974 or Gvodzika or 2S2 . Perhaps a D20 howitzer on a BMP1 (MLI) hull. I'm not sure how Atrom will be domesticaly produced. The GUN is Israeli SOLTAN one. Only the truck is build here. But the system integration will be done here , if is accepted in use. Unless some wise guy think that we don;t need it |
