Anyone know of any planned Tanks of AFVs I know about the Maresal but were there others that would have matched T-34s I'm thinking on the line of a Romanian Type "Tiger"/Panther???

No. From my sources, Romania have only few projects in this domain. We have Renault 35 modified, with a russian antitank gun cal. 45 m.m., the T.A.C.A.M. s on chasis by Skoda Lt-35 and T-60 with russian antitank guns 76,2 m.m., and Maresal. Any new info, is welcome. Iama |

I heard some rumors stating that romanian rebuilt R-35 used the french Schneider 47mm gun. Unfortunately i can't backj-up my statement  |

I also found something like you sayed, in one pre '89 issue of Modelism romanian magasine. In that article was write about 47 m.m. Schneider antitank french gun., and also there was another thing - 5 of this tanks were modified as assault guns.
Who knows more? Who have that Modelism issue? Was the one with the Me 109 G, if i remember right. Iama |
