The 9th Fighter Group and the 8th Assault Group operated for a short while in late 1943 from Crimea. See:

Thank you, Victor.

These units fought along Dniepr front. My interest is Crimea and it's coastal waters, mainly Kerch peninsula

And what about 20th Observation Squadron? When that unit appeared in Crimea? According to Hillgruber, 20th Observation Squadron was in Crimea in 1944, but maybe in the end of 1943 too?
