Air Force flying goggles. This has an interesting personalized insignia of a skull attached to the right side. Does anyone recognize this insignia or to whom this insignia relates to ?

I have a photo of an I.A.R. 80 and its pilot, Adj. av. Vasile Stana. The '80 has a similar white skull drawing on the fuselage side, although with crossbones.

I too have noticed the insignia on Adj. Stanas airplane having cross bones behind the skull. The skull is shown as a partial side and partial front view. This insignia is a side view with no crossbones so I do not recognize it. Where there any other pilots that were identified with a skull insignia ?

Air Force manual for instrument flying 1940.

Hello

I was wondering on how did u get hold of the German Slide NAV Ruler of the Roumanian Bomber Pilot ? Can you scan some of the photos of the " Manual de Instrumente de Zbor ? Did he fly a HE-111 of JU-88 ? Do you have any WWII of AAR pilot badges or other items for trade ? Let me know

Thanks
