Yesterday on Pro-Cinema chanell, was an interesting movie about Tucker-the man and his inventions.Staring Jeff Bridges and Christian Slatter.
To those who never heard about Tacker, here's a small biografhy;
During ww2 he made a very good armured car,who was refused by the guvermant because it was to fast.....
But the glass turret that equiped the car was mounted on all middle and heavy bombers B-17,24,25,26 and saved many lifes.
After the war he made a car who had a fuel injection,disc brakes,back eangine,seat belts,low consumption and many safty gadges.
"The Three Bigs"were so scared from the competition that made everything in their power to bankrupt the Tucker corporation.
Only 50 cars were made.
