It looks more like a tesac.
The tesac was a smaller sword used in the Independence War by sergeants or even troops. It was also used by street-sergeants or public guardians in that time. In the Independence War (also known as Russian-Romanian-Serbian-Turkish War in the Western Historiography) the NCO's meaning sergent-major and adjutant used swords simmilar to officers. A Turkish piece circa 1870's. Probably a war trophy from the Russo-Turkish War.
