Whether I would like to ask there were in the Romanian army mountain parts?
Whether there were at them marks distinction? Whether there were they in Stalingrad? |

For the organization of the mountain troops and photos, see here:
http://www.worldwar2.ro/organizare/?article=16&language=en As distinctive marks were the berrets and the white socks worn over the top of te hiking boots. No Romanian mountain troops served at Stalingrad. The 4 mountain divisions on Soviet territory served mostly in: -Crimea see here: http://www.worldwar2.ro/operatii/?article=4&language=en http://www.worldwar2.ro/operatii/?article=8&language=en http://www.worldwar2.ro/operatii/?article=12&language=en -the Caucasus see here: http://www.worldwar2.ro/operatii/?article=9&language=en http://www.worldwar2.ro/operatii/?article=11&language=en |
