Hi could anyone direct me to www. adress, or write what was the number of equipment of Romanian Army in 1939-1941.

I am interested in number of :
hand weapons - types, calibre etc. (revolvers, pistols, rifles, LMG's),
Machine guns (HMG's , large calibre MG's.)
Special weapons (AT rifles (if it was in service), flame throwers, granade launchers etc.)

Number of mortars and AT and AA guns

Data on what was produced in Romania and in what numbers, and what was purchased?

Also interested in number of pieces of artillery - guns, howitzers, mortars of all calibres.
Again how much, who produced it...
The oficial site is interesting but it lacks numbers (or I haven't found it)

Thanks in advance - will be much obliged.

I find the folowing informations in "The history of Romanian Infantry", [Bucharest 1985, Ed. Stiintifica si Enciclopedica]:

- "at 1 september 1939 the romanian infantry was in possesion of only 57 AT guns" (pg. 224);

- in january 1940 the situation of ordered/delivered armament for romanian infantry:

ZB Mauser rifles, md1924, - ordered to "Zbrojovka Brno" CZ 500,000/delivered 322,000;
ZB md.1930 LMGs - ordered to "Copsa Mica-Cugir" RO 11,000/delivered 3,920;
60 mm Brand mortars - ordered to "Voina" RO 408/delivered 175;
60 mm Brand mortars - ordered to "Drum de Fier" RO 1,200/delivered 0;
AT guns Schneider 47mm - ordered to Schneider FR 1600/delivered 72. (pg231)

Notice that here its about the infantry, not about entire romanian army. Anyway, it wasnt a better situation at the army level. The same lack in AT, AA guns, mortars, tanks, modern aircrafts and trucks.

During the WW2, in Romania was produced:

ZB rifles; ZB LMGs; Orita SMGs(romanian design); 60mm, 81,4mm, 120mm mortars; 47mm Schneider AT gun ; 75mm DT-UDR 26 Resita AT gun (romanian design); 75mm Vickers AA gun ... and the list its opened ....
