ARR veterans

Today I spoke with a friend form the hungarian VO101 virtual squadron (flying IL2 ww2 f. sim) and he told me that almost all VO101 Virtual Squadron recently met with many still alive hungarian veteran pilots from ww2 - overall they had a great time together (listening warstories, eating, drinking, joking ).I always wished to have something similar in romania - the romanian virtual pilots to meet and spend some time with the ARR veterans still alive today, listening to their stories, letting them know that in today's Romania there is a group of young people interested and amazed by their passed deeds.Would this be possible, or will it remain jst a dream ?

Once ,about a year ago,I made Marinciu play Il 2

w00t ? OMG that is great ! How did he like it ? I would like to arrange a meeting betwen our members (the virtual squadron) and the ww2 veterans, can we get some help with this please ? :]

Probably you have to wait until spring when the whether will be much better for them. They are not younger like you. And they must be helped with the transport. Some of them like Marinciu have eyes problem. Anyway i know that Dicezare try to have a monthly meeting with aviation Fans like the old days in Lido. Last year i was at one of this meet but it was cold and only few vet. manage to be there.

Spring is ok no problem with transportation - we have 3 cars available for transport.

Mytzu,Marinciu didn't do so well since the controls of the joystick are much softer than the real 109.
Don't forget that those are old people(I also forget sometines) .They are over 85 and that's a lot.
The biggest problem is that 90% of them don't hear well
