Hs-129, Winter camo?

Did any of the Romanian Hs-129s have winter camoflauge?

Yes. Several ARR Henschel Hs 129s wore patchy white temporary camouflage scheme over their original Luftwaffe colours.

The photo of one such Hs 129s was included in both my 'Rumanian Air Force. The Prime Decade' and 'Henschel Hs 129 In Action' books, both published by Squadron/Signal, in the USA.

Matt since you are new on this forum after the welcomme message perhaps I should tell you that Denes is the author of the Roumanian Air Force Prime decade it contains a lot of photos including several winter version of the HS-129...it can be bought through Yahoo or at Signal / Squadron Publication

There is such a profile by Bogdan Patrascu.

I consider the HS-129 one of the most advanced and futuristic twin engined air to ground aircraft designed by the Germans , excellent tank buster and highly manuevrable.......please note that after WII the Argentinians have copied that aircraft and developed a very successful turbo prop trainer and air to ground called Puccara ..eventually with the help of the former Henschel Flugzeugwerke designers.....

On p. 43 there is a colour side view drawing, based on an actual photo.
You can find on p. 55 a photo of another white camouflaged ARR Hs 129B, No. 214.

According to the Information below, the Henschel 129B-2 had a LGW-Siemens K-23 Autopilot and a BSK 16 Gun Camera. So did the Ju-87D. How sophisticated was this system? According to data on that website, the Me 109's had IFF system.. (identify friendly or foe).
These WW2 planes might have been more advanced then we probably tought.

You've got a great point. The HS129 was always for me a futuristic like aircraft and rather bizare but well built , strong engines , a powerful heavy MG on the chin and what amazes me is the sighting system if you will the so called today head up dispaly system combiner mounted outside of the cockpit rather inside and on the cockpit panel .....I was trying to see a clear cockpit photo but I havent got ...maybe you do ? I know for sure that later on the Argentinians built their Pucarra twin turbo prop attack/ and trainer based on that designed

Are any photos seen form top? As I am building (very slow because of time) an airmodel of HS-129 And I want to paint it in romanien colors, winter colors and I have only side views of winter paint...

PS: I know that is a question out of topic here... Is anyone interested to redraw the factory drawings and try to find founds to make a flyable aircraft of HS-129?

Does anyone have the Hs129 blueprints ? And by flyble you mean a 1:1 version of it ? If so I think it is more a matter of geting the money to build it, which I estimate around 150.000 euros.

Of course I am talking about 1:1 scale
I am talking for the same weight, same power of engines.... same plane (mabe some engines better form all points of view...)
In rest the all the same a/c...
Well the first step is to have a project accepted by the authorities in my country AACR (romanian civil aeronautical authority) that gives you the right to build and fly the palne.
After you have all these.... (it's hard work with the project and athorities) will be more simple to fing investitors to build a few a/c.
Without project ready no one will spend even 1c on you as no one wants to loose money...
As Boieng rebuilt the Me-262 soo EADS may give some founds or other companies to create a gorup of a/c to go around the world at airshows...
But still the project must be done and be passed by the local authorities were it will be built.
I do'n know what is a blueprint and I can't find it in dictionaries... what it is.... mabe the romanian ward I knok it but in english i don't...
