Mytzu I disagree,is very unreallistic stuff .... unless Devil sits on sources of unlimited funds, it will be very costy and hard to certify a built a 1:1 version of the HS-129.

I'm certain you know that we live a deep recessive world ,world hunger and local and intl.conflicts, world unemployment and natural disasters are an on daily agendas of the politicians and even in the US where there are somany experimental aircraft freeks less and less nowadays people have the funds for such projects...I'm telling you this as member of US Experimental acft asso and confederate air force....there people used to built , rebuilt and refurbish anything which could fly and certification is subtantially easier than in Rumania.

I still share the views that devil meant a radio controlled HS-129 or just a model for his hobby room ...regarding your second comment I would particularly be very interested to see photos of the completed 1:1 newly built YAK 9 ....

As of date of today I do not recollect anyone on private basis who built in Rumania a simpler military aircrafft than HS-129 through private funds, and yet despite the new Rumanian sentiments towards the rich past ,none started to built a new IAR-80 as yet , which definetly would make sense to me ..rather than a HS 129. Do you honestly believe this version ? In any case anyone can express his fanatasies and views on here, it doesnt harm anyone and it doesnt cost a thing....personally I wanted to visit the moon too all I need is a rocket and a pad ....

Alex

Come on guys  a 1:1 replica doesn't mean it has to be 100% exact (exact materials and parts used for the original design - not even the gunsight), you just need a 1:1 replica which looks like the original and eventually takes-off and lands

Last year I visited an aircraft factory in Romania and I saw in the building area a Yak9  ofcourse my eyes were as big as onions and I asked the director what on earth is going on, he said they had orders for serveral such birds, so I asked him how mucn he estimates an IAR-80 flyble replica would cost, the answer was "around 100.000 euros" - I still want to see this bird fly, but if anyone has the money and will to make a Hs129 I guess it is not impossible at all

Yes Mytzu, it's true we don't need to subestimed what was left from the Ceausescu proud Aeronautical industry. The IAK 9 it's not the first flyng replica build in Romania. We knows about that nimble Fw190 fighters replicas build in a moldavian factory (using original parts as models) and sold for max. 30000 $ factory price.

Dan

Are there any photos of the 1:1 built FW-190 and YAK replicas out of Moldavian or else factories in Rumania built for $ 30K with original spares... ?? If you know the addresses of those who manuafcturers ,I can get them some US / European deals on a forthnight basis ! a FW190 and YAK's for 30K sounds like free of a charge to me. The cheaper than my own Audi TT, so I may consider buying one too !

I saw photos of the Fw190 replica built in romania, unfortunatelly I do not possess them.I was forbidden to take any pictures in the factory where I saw the Yak9 ... new stupid law preventing you to photograph empty spaces where people once worked hard in a top industry.

As for the money I am sure they can be raised for an IAR-80, actually I am trying to start something regarding this but will only tell you about if I manage to do it, there is no point otherwise.

Like Mytzu said there are some pictures with this replicas but unfortunetly i don't have it. But i saw with my eyes the Fw 190 on the production lines. There were at least 3 types of engines used. One a sport version with IAK 52 engine (400HP) and another with a big russian radial engine ( like An-2 engine) and the last one with original rebuild BMW engines ( but the price for this one could be more than 100000$). But like i said it's a factory price. The owner ( and the initial investment) was from a german company. So you can not buy directly from the factory. The flyng test for this planes were done also in Germany.

Yep Mytzu and Dan , building a IAR 80 would generate a whole of lot more echos and sounds substantially more realistic to me than the previous stuff about the HS-129

I sincerely hope you will gather the funds for it and see it one day on the air ...it was a leading aircraft type in the WWII with fantastic aerodynamics and concepts.

Dan , planes were manufactured on partisan basis in Roumania and you wana tell me that you guys who are aviation funs and modellers dont have any photos whatsoever ? was it that secret ?

Devil are you serious or just kidding with fanatsies  ?

Blueprints means  desenele technice...schitze.....do you have the technical and financial resources to build something to that extent ?

I would double the figures someone gave you on here before in order to get it done...... maybe even tripple it  !  who's gonna give you the engines and avionics, are u gonna use Dacia or Trabant engines or maybe Cessna 150 engines ?  where are you going to build and fly test it , since I guess you aren't a pilot yourself , whos gonna do it for ya ?  who's gonna give you airworthiness certificate in Rumania for such a project  ?

Sorry, but your stataments sounds rather very futuristic....and I am telling you this from the pilot point if view ! I personally think you meant you were going or wana built a radio controlled model of HS-129 which sounds closer to reality.

Alex

I am a pilot at AR...
Thanks for "blueprints"
It is not a fantasy! I am talking very serious
Engines all around the world you may find engines...
I am not saying that founds will come as saying "fish" but without project no one will spend money.
And by the way there are poeple around the world who may sponsor such activities...

In the factory taken pictures for this FW 190 was forbidden by the german contractors. But ofcourse there many modelers like us working in that factory and probably they made some pictures. I have a friend there but i didn't talk to him for a while and i do not find his phone number anymore. But i will try to get that pictures from other source.

Btw. you can say it was a secret considering the low factory price wich could be double for final customers who believed the planes were build in Germany.

Of course will be long.... drawing may take one-two years.... bribing the autorities to look at your project another 2 yeras or more, and building it other 2-3 years... if everithing goes likly....
