The soviet women AA gunners check the pilot identity after shooting him down. If the pilot still alive it will be their best friend. |

The Fw 190 replica's airframe currently under flight test in Germany was built at Bacau. There is a German site related to this enterprise. AFAIK, the Yak-9 replicas were built at Craiova for the French. Gen. Dénes This post has been edited by Dénes on February 08, 2005 03:34 pm |

Denes is right, and he is also right about "replicas" :] good intel Aparently the french guy who ordered the Yaks didn't pay for all of them (or something happened and he dod not pick up all of them), so there is still one (at least) in the factory, maybe one of you would like to buy it

Denes
Are you sure that this company in Manching manufactured new FW-190 with assistance and partial assembly in Rumania ? Victor Aerostar was and is still a partner of Elbit and IAI for the MIG-21 and MIG-29 westernised version which as far as knew has all been completed.I am well familar with Aerostar and I wont go in details. Was officially published or known that they have manufactured WWII warbirds on order from France or Germany.....I knew the former engineering test pilot overthere who came together with his Israeli counter part from IAI at Paris Air Show 4 years ago. I wasn't aware about WWII warbirds completed in Rumania. I am wondering what engines would they employ on FW190, ME-109 and YAK's because the original engines are gone , perhaps some spare parts are left Thanks Alex |

Getting back to one of the topics... as the FW costs 550.000$ that means the Hs-129 may go to 700.000-800.000$....
Of course the many, the cheaper So getting back to the main topic... does enyone have top views with winter camo for romanian version? |

The price is in Euro, not in USD (multiply Euro with 1,3 to get the price in USD). Gen. Dénes |
