Hi fellows,

Could someone help with translation in English of one Rumanian document? It’s in pretty bad condition but I will write it here in exact order as it is on paper.
Thanks in advance. Here it is:

LISTA NOMINALA

A ranitilor iugoslavi, cazuti in cel de al doiles razboi mondial, si inmormintati in cimitrul din Timsoara-cetats, situate pe Cales Ardului.-

1/ JIVOIN MILOVANOV + 2.15.V.1941, etatea 38 ani.
2/ BOGOMIR din Tichut + 9.V.1941
3/ MIRCHO BOJOVICI + 1.14.V.1941
4/ Caporal SAVA GRUBICI + 1.V.1941
5/ Necunoscut.
6/ RISTO MICOVICI din Strumitia + 1.14.V.1941, etatea 30 ani.
7/ BILIAN SELIEVICI + 1.14.V.1941, etatea 34 ani.
8/ Plutonier MUIO CAPICI + 11.24.IV.1941.
9/ SVETOZAR GOGIEVAT + 1.14.IV.1941, etatea 35 ani.
10/ DRAGHICIEVICI + 12.25.IV.1941.-
There is official stamp and signature but beyond my recognition. There is also a lot of apostrophes on letters in this Rumanian text but I don’t have this kind of font in my PC.

Cheers,
Aleks

Hello Dragos,

Thank you very much for quick respond and translation. I’m just wondering about dates. It’s mostly May and April 1941. As you know Yugoslav Royal Army never took any kind of offensive action against Romanian Army except Air Force. Later during transfer flights with VVKJ bombers to SSSR were no losses in Timsoara area as far as I know. Only one Do-17K was lost over Kudesti Deal, all aboard killed, but not a single name from translated list?!
Do you think that this list could be related by any means to Royal Yugoslav Air Force?
And for the end, could you tell me the meaning of Romanian word –plutonier-.

Regards,
Aleks
