This badge is a first class award for graduating from Pre-Military Prep course at the top of his class. It has nothing to do with the ARR Pilots School and is not considered an aviation badge. |

Alex, it's not a PZL. The planes used by "White squadron" ( women pilots) were RWD- 13 ( painted white with red cross). The reason for "make up" it's quite simple It's a woman ( and a nice one ). All her dress it looks pretty suited and arranged with taste ( evan were military items). Dan. This post has been edited by Cantacuzino on February 07, 2005 07:46 am |

Dan the person who posted the photos on his site mentioned its PZL and I certainly believed based on the front it looks also like an old UK aircraft......I need to see the whole aircraft for ID purposes....but I take your remark as reliable. Maybe you can post a photo of this aircraft
Thanks Alex |

Lets not get stuck about wording....I initially meant just a Polish one and probably spelled it PZL because I don't know the type nor I am into such light aircrafts..so I was thinking of PZL Neverteless thanks anyway and lets keep this accuracy for other topics too.

Hello! I believe the German officer might be Generalleutnant Karl Angerstein (apparently still a Generalmajor in the photo). He was the delegated Commanding General of the I. Fliegerkorps on the Eastern Front from 15 June 1943-8 November 1943. Prior to that, Angerstein served as Higher Commander of the Bomber and Dive-Bomber Schools from 9 July 1942-14 June 1943. The pilot at left is most probably Stefan Florescu "Pongo". Can you ask Mr. Dobran for the names of the two other ones, too? Gen. Dénes |
