Mytzu, maybe it's worth advertising here too the planned meeting in Sibiu, in early June.
I hope they sell beer there, too...

Yup 23 is saturday smile.gif somehow I ALWAYS mix up these dates during weeneds... Herastrau should be fun - I even know one terase which is not that expensive.

About what Denes said: me and some squadron mates are trying to organize a meeting in first weekend of june at Sibiu with mr. Cornel Marandiuc and Denes Bernad, so if any of you are interested of joining this event feel free to say something .

PS: Denes we drink beer thus we exist.. there shall be no place without beer ! biggrin.gif

I have an Idea...
Let's forget the restaurant and go to a paintball!
I'll bring one or two friends and we'll fight you all.
If it rains, there's an indoor paintball in an old factory.
it can be fun...

Ok we need a second plan in case it is raining and can't make it to a "terasa" in Herastrau, anyone knows a good place where we can stay if it is bad weather ?

A new book ,with some parts about the ARR was published by editura Ares.
The book was written by General de Flotila Aeriana ® Dr.Ing Neculai Octav Cernescu.
I met him about 2 years ago,he had some interesting sories but some are surely pure imagination.
He's 98 and still kiking.
He was shoot ones in the neck and in his hip.
After the war he spent many years in labour camps and his apartment was confiscated by the comunists.
The book has320 pg,from wich I read about 50.Nice written.

An unbelievable source of Romanian books!!
Mostly for foreigners!
Take a look at: http://www.kubon-sagner.de/buch/neu/190_2005_01.html
But the prices a quite prohibitive!!

Currently I am in Rumania, in Brasov, checking out the local archives. wink.gif

Those who are interested in joining Mytzu & Co. for a beer here in Brasov, on Saturday, are most welcome. I shall be there.

Contact Mytzu for details (even I don't know yet where and when we'll meet).

To those who'll be in Brasov tomorrow, let's meet at around 11.00, at 'Formula 1 Pub', on the patio, located at 'Livada Postei' (5 min. from the Black Church), beside the Rectorat, where the Municipal Library is also located.

The patio has some white umbrellas, with 'Carlsberg' written on them.

I shall be there.
