This is a picture i recently acquired.
On the back is written: " C-lung Muscel Regimentul 30 Dorobanti Se incepe cu randul de jos dela stanga la dreapta - (From left to right, bottom line) 1) Maior Semionescu, Maior Pasoiu, Maior Moloiu, Lt. Col. Georgescu Col. Teodorescu V, Lt. Col Dumitrescu, Preot Moisescu, Maior S.... Petre - 2) Capt. Robescu, Sr. Popescu, Stoian, Constantin Ion Sergescu, Taina, Radulescu 3) Capt, Solescu, Marcusanu, Popescu, Dumitrescu Gh., Ocr... Gh., Margarintescu, V. Vasilescu , Iobasescu, Sc. Vladoi 4) Stanculescu, Bergheanu, Sendescu Gh., Tutu I, Cuparencu, Serb 5) Comsa Ilie, ....., Dumitrace, Balaceanu, Sandu Sergescu, Sengescu P., Popescu V, Radulescu Octav." Does anybody know the period that this picture was taken? If you like a really larger scan please feel free to ask.

The home.ro and go.ro servers does not allow direct linking of images. That's why neither your pictures of the gas mask don't show up. If you can't upload the photos on a different server, you can write the url of the image and those interested can copy and paste it on the address bar of the browser.

I only quoted the information stated on the auction page, even though the name of the unit seemed odd to me too. On the other hand, above the door of the building it seems to be written indeed Peneş Curcanul. |

Phader of one of my friends has served in this regiment, at an aticar batery. I have promises for photos of this veteran. Unfortunatelly it is very ill, and imobilized, and don't speak about war... Iama |
