This is my 1/32 G-2. I know the full rudder stripes are inaccurate but I liked them so there they are. I'm also guessing as to the upper camo pattern as I could find no pics of this squadron's upper surfaces.
Anyway, thanks to those who have posted photos that helped me get an idea about the markings (even if they're not perfect), especially 'Cantacuzino' (Dan). Mike a b e n ...thanks and cheers all. |

Hi Mike, Congrat. Very nice looking rom. Bf 109 G2 . This particular plane "white 6" was ocasionally flown by Slt.Flaviu Zamfirescu from 53sq. On 4 april'44 he took off from Otopeni airfield to attack B-24's near Bucharest. He was damaged in combat but he manage a safe land at Otopeni . Happy modelling, Dan. |
