Could anyone find new information related to the actual type of the Farman 'Goliath' bomber in ARR service?

In an old photo album of a Rumanian pilot officer I was lucky to acquire, there is a photo of a Farman Goliath seen from the rear. The type is clearly visible on the top rudder: F.168 BN3. So this mystery is now solved.

Well don't know if it's of any use or not anymore, but i've found a nice Pdf online regarding the Farman Goliaths , and it says there at plage 15 that in 1928 Romania ordered 3 F.168 with Jaguar-III ( 365hp) engines. I thought to share the link anyway, quite interesting.
http://www.hydroretro.net/etudegh/le_farman_goliath.pdf Btw, are there any pics of CV-FAR online by any chance ? Thanks. This post has been edited by lancer21 on April 28, 2012 09:28 pm |
