Modelism's book on the Romanaian Navy shows a Tupolov "Glisser" air boat about 5m long with an aircraft engine, propeller and very small "wings". It was likely captured in 1941.I have other information on these boats but did the Romanaians use this particular boat in action and were they common in the Soviet Naval forces on the Danube in 1941?

This air glider was not used in any atack missions. It was used for personnel transport between Tulcea and Sulina and also for post. There are 5 known pictures of it, one with the indicative MT 5 - Motor Transport 5

Stranicy Morskoi Istorii No.3
listed Soviet Danube Flotilla loses in 1941

Six motor boats were scuttled on August, 10th at Reni. There also
a barge No.100 was blown up. Was the "air boat" one of the above.
