Thank you Dénes for the details. Given the interest that King Carol II had in aviation, he could indeed have been the honorary president of ARPA (Asociaţia Română pentru Propaganda Aviaţiei).

Dear Friends of the Forum:
Research in the Internet, looking for information about the rare Emsco B-3 Airplane, I found this pages talking about this obscure plane. I live in Monterrey, Mexico and I am trying to draw the 3 Views plans in order to build a radio control model plane; just "seeing and re-seeing" photos of the plane. Until my own knowledge the Emsco Aircraft, Co. only make 4 Emsco B-3. Here in Mexico we had have two of them. In 1931 in Rumania the aviator Octavian Oculeanu make an long distance flight from Bucharest to London and return in the CV-GOI Emsco B-3 monoplane. It is possible that you put in this forum a photo of this historic achievement and you know how the end of the days of this airplane was. My Best Regards, Carlos L. de la Lanza delalanza@lycos.com |

I already posted a photo of CV-GOI on my forum, as per your earlier request: http://disc.server.com/discussion.cgi?disc...History%20Forum Gen. Dénes This post has been edited by Dénes on April 09, 2006 03:39 am |
