Hello!

I have a nice picture of Locotenet observator Bădulescu & Plutonier Iliescu Teodor Leu beside a Breguet Br.14 B2.

I guess Bădulescu and Iliescu are family names, Teodor Leu the first name.

Can you tell me if this is right? And what is the first name of Locotenet observator Bădulescu? And which unit they belonged (the name ofthe unit in Romanian, please)?

Thanks a lot!

Andrea

According to an old post by Dragos, a plutonier pilot Theodor Iliescu belonging to the F.4 Squadron (Escadrila F.4) was involved in a fight with a German plane on 22 August 1917. At that date the F.4 Squadron belonged to the 2nd Air Group (Grupul 2 Aeronautic) from Tecuci.

Thanks to all of you, very very interesting data.

The photo is not actually mine, I found it on the Web. Here you have it. There is no MG on the rear seat, alas...
