Is it possible to agree if "Troika" or "Skull and fish skeleton" on PZL.23 Karas aircraft were oryginal Escadrilla 73 Bombardament emblems or crew personal markings only ? I am lokking for this data for the second edition of my PZL.23 Karas monograph which is in preparation now. Greetings from Warsaw ! Tomasz Kopanski |

It should be squadron markings. ( because are more than one plane with this marks)
Probably the 73rd sq. Karas first were with "skull and fish skeleton" at Craiova airfield and later on the est front with "Troika". This post has been edited by Cantacuzino on July 09, 2005 10:16 pm |

Cantacuzino is right.
The Troita is a esc.73 emblem. About the scull and the fish scheleton,I cannot tell is it's a personal emblem or a esc. |
