I found this photo in my collection. It shows a biplane aircraft and the caption on the back writes: "Aircraft of Romanian Prince who visited Kraków (Cracow), 1931".
I would appreciate if anyone could give a comment ? Tomasz Kopanski |

Could it be the plane of Prince Nicolae, the brother of King Carol II?

Oh - I have found some additional information in my papers! Prince Nicolas came to Poland "unofficially" (oficially "unoficially" ) on 20 August 1931. First to Lvov, then to Warsaw (afternoon - the same day). Visits to Marshal Pilsudski and President Moscicki were planned in the evening, 21 August. Visit to 2nd Air Regiment - Cracow according to programme should start from 10.45, 22 August.

One more photo. Prince Nicholas is in the middle of the photograph. Polish officers, Gen. Aleksander Narbut-Luczynski (commander of DOK V – Cracow Army Area) and Col. Edward Lewandowski (2 Air Regiment’s commander) greets Romanian guest.
